The History of Phil Jarman Aggregates
Phil Jarman began in the construction industry in 1973 and in 1997 began his tipper business, firstly working out of various quarries, but now concentrates on supplying aggregates and sand plus taking on site clearance and bulk excavations.
Phil likes to supply a wide range of materials including hedging and walling stone and where possible supplies recycled stone to keep customer costs down to the minimum.
He has been heavily involved with the construction of the last five LIDL stores in this area and several major contracts in the West Devon and Plymouth area.
One major contract involved supplying hundreds of tonnes of aggregates and walling stone to two multi million pound houses in the Dartmouth area.
Often likes to visit sites to advise on best type of aggregates to use.
Will often take on difficult jobs and advise on the best way to make life easier for the customer.
